S/C/G: 180/145/135-125

Height: 5'5"

Default Only 10 more to go!

Hey everyone, I'm new here. I gotta say I love this forum, I can only talk my bf's ear off so many times, lol!

So basically, I started out at 180 lbs @ 5'5". I had a routine checkup and was in shock to hear that I was at my pregnancy weight without even being pregnant! I literally ate a box of 150 pepperidge farms cookies in a week, and that was what upped the weight gain. I think I probably broke some kinda of record for cookies munched in one sitting.

I knew I had to do something, so I started working out, which was really hard at first. I couldn't do one pushup a year ago. I would literally collapse.

So I started making goals. I started with 5 pushups as a goal and would add 5 onto every workout. Working out like this really helped, and I managed 130 pushups.

With working out and not over indulging, I've managed to lose 35 lbs. And only 10 more to go for me to be at goal weight! Yay.

My next goal is a six-pack!

Thanks! This is the first time I'm actually sticking to it.. my usual habit it to exercise intensely until I'm only a couple of lbs from goal weight, then I usually find some excuse to stop for a couple of months.

I've dealt with the same issues this time around, but the difference is that I don't let it go on too long, usually if I do stop, it's not more than 3 weeks. It has made all the difference, and I've been able to maintain 145 for a year.

My goal now is to be stronger than when I was 15, break into the 130's and just reach my health goals. I'm even considering being a personal trainer if I can reach my goals! I'm dreaming big, which is something I never did when I was overweight.

I was under the assumption that the OP was saying she was the same weight as she was when she was pregnant even though she is not currently prego. That's what I was talking about for me. There's no way to predict your weight while pregnant. I lost ten lbs in the first trimester, but I also know people who gained 30lbs in that time.
