Default Dear scale, please move!

I knew that this was going to slow down but I am still not happy about it . I have only lost around 6-8 lbs this month and have been stuck at the same number for more than a week now. I have had stalls in the past. I know they will happen and that eventually the scale moves again. I'm not sure why this one seems a little scarier than the others. I really feel stuck. I have been calorie cycling and trying to eat lots of protein. I know that I would tell anyone else in my position to give it time. I guess I am just being impatient right now. I am SO read to be out of the 250s... I have been here all month. Sorry for venting... I am just a little frustrated! Hope everyone else is doing well!

I was thinking the same. I lose 6-8 pounds a month now and in weight loss before and that's with an hour of exercise a night and eating 1500-1700 calories a day. That's a healthy, steady loss!

Thanks, Ladies! I know that 6-8 lbs is a nice, healthy loss in a month... I am just used to a much higher # since I am coming down from such a high weight. I just need to put it all into perspective. As long as I don't gain, I should be happy with how things are going. I knew it was going to slow down and I just have to get to the point where I am okay with that

You aren't stalled now. You have to be the same weight for 6 weeks for that to happen. You are seeing normal fluctuations. Your expectations to lose every week is too high.

Congrats on the poundage lost this month!! That is awesome!! Just be patient...I know it is easier said than done, but the weight will start coming off again...just don't get discouraged and fall off the wagon!

I can no longer lose that much in one month! Wow.

The body needs time to adjust to new weight levels, I suggest finding ways to keep going when these frustrating stalls continue to happen....and they will. Even when you are doing everything right, gains an fluctuations can happen. How you handle them as time marches by will determine if you are successful in getting to goal.

Thanks guys!! I know I have expectations that really are not realistic. They are just stemming from my experience with this weight loss journey so far (the weight has come off REALLY quickly). I know that losing anything is great. I just needed to vent because I am having to get used to losing at a much slower rate and thats never fun. When we are used to one thing and it changes, sometimes the transition is kinda bumpy. Thanks for the input... I am feeling much better about it already Just needed to voice my frustrations.
