So I went to battle with Tae Bo this morning. It was personal. You see, Tae Bo kicked my butt back in college during one of my half-hearted attempts to lose weight. I couldn't even finish the beginner video without a break. So when I found a whole batch of Tae Bo videos on Netflix, I did a little research then had "Tae Bo: Celebrity Fit Cardio" shipped to me.

Popped it in this morning and go to work. The warm-up is good (did it twice though to be sure), and overall the workout is a good length. Made it ALL the way through without stopping. Some of the moves got a little complicated toward the end because I didn't leave myself enough room for them, but I kept moving and did as close a version of the moves as I could in the space I had. Some of the choreography got a little weird too, since I'm massively uncoordinated.

But I finished. Yay me! Now it's time to perfect the technique before I send it back in favor of a new video!

LOVE THAT! good for you!

i love doing cathe friedrich's videos. i really feel accomplished when i can make it through the whole thing, or doing it without a modification. she's really challenging. its great to know you can exceed your expectations. i love that feeling.

I'll have to remember her and see if Netflix has any of her stuff. I just loved the energy of the Tae Bo, overall. And it didn't involve a ton of jumping around.
