Default Best-worst NSV

I'm working from home and just moments ago tried to rest my phone on my belly as I lean back, and it just rolls off because I don't have enough "shelf" left anymore! It's a great surprise, but kind of an embarrassing NSV too

Do you have one like that?

Mine was the day I realized my seat belt choked me not because I was too short like I thought, but because I was too fat. I seriously thought it was height I needed, not weight loss.

Whatever...the belt fits as it should now! No more fear of getting choked to death by my saftey belt.

The day I realized I didn't fit into my car was a hard thing. I'd just bought it a year ago and after gaining 40 pounds last year, I realized that when I was getting into my car I had to shove the seat all the way back, not because my legs were long, but because my butt was so big. Also, my seat belt cut into my hips because I spilled over the sides of the seat.

That was the day I knew I needed to make a change. Today my seat belt doesn't cut into my hips anymore. I still have to push the seat all the way back, but I know that won't be for long!

I can relate on the car one - my DH has a small car and I always felt way too big in it, it was awkward to get out, etc etc...well now I fit nicely in the bucket seats and can get out easily!

My best-worst NSV is that my work pants are too big. Which I should be thrilled about, but I teach, so I'm standing the whole day....I also walk around my classroom all period long cause I get antsy. So, all period long I take five steps and pull my pants back up. Five more steps, pull back up. And so on. I wish I could belt my work pants, but they would be SUPER short since my partner shrunk them in the wash...

haha, I like the pants one!

When I was away last week, my jeans (first ever zip up pair) were so loose, I needed a to buy a belt to keep them up. Unfortunately, I then took food poisoning, so I was too frightened to buckle the belt!!!!! )

Mine is the same, only not a wedding ring.
Had a BEAUTIFUL tiffany ring, I loved it, i had been looking for one like it for years. Saw it, bought it for myself, wore it all the time.

It's somewhere in the north end of the city . . . . I don't think I'll be seeing it again.

CanI throw a tantrum now?

This is mine too. I am flopping around in my clothes, they look like shapeless sacks on me. My pants threaten to fall off even with a belt - because my belt is inches and inches too big!

I am also always "adjusting" myself in an unsightly way because my bras don't fit properly. Last night I finally ordered some new ones - band size 4" smaller than the last time I ordered. So by this time next week, the girls will be properly restrained ...

I have a ring one too. Thankfully not my wedding ring (So glad you found yours Heather). Mine was nothing too special just a silver celtic knot ring that I liked and used to wear on my right hand. I have no idea where it is. That was the day I went and got one of those little rubber ring snuggy things for my wedding ring so as to not have the same thing happen to it. I bet this has happened to a lot of people as they lose weight.

I also have a good and bad one in that I hardly have any shoes anymore when I used to have something like 100 pair. They were all too big.

I've become the queen of the stitched waist band. I take 1/4" out in several places around the band. Drop a few pounds...take it in, in a few more places. I just have to make sure to wear a long top so it doesn't show.

Same about the ring!
I too had bought myself a beautiful Tiffany&Co silver open heart ring and oen day at work I noticed it was missing off my finger (it had been sliding off for a few weeks) so I looked everywhere and couldnt find it
It happened to turn up in a super random place about 2 weeks later and I was sooo happy!
