I am convinced that I have now lost the fat that was propping up my other fat. In some spots I look a little...well, melty. I just consider it incentive to keep going, as I've reached the point of no return--I don't want to stay melty, so I'd darned well better drop the rest!
It's probably not actual fat redistribution, just a little trick of gravity. I know I see a lot more hip than I used to because gravity's working its sinister magic on skin that used to be higher on my body; it's why my waist is four inches smaller than when I started, but my hips have only lost a couple of inches.
I've never heard that neck thing, but I think that depends a
whole lot on how you carry your weight. Some people have larger fat pads in the face and neck regions, others never gained there and so never lose there when they drop the weight. With the way you're eating and working out, you're probably retaining your muscle nicely; it sounds like you're doing everything right.
I'd seen your post a couple of weeks ago about not being able to tell in pictures. Just have to say that you can SO tell how much success you've had losing! You look terrific and I am jealous of your cheekbones.
