- a very healthy day yesterday - I am grateful for that and the willingness to try

- DH got the salt, etc for the ice storm. We have what we need. Hoping the power stays on. Grateful for the meteorologists who can predict the weather so we can all be ready. Called all my seniors - they are all ready.

- my Grandma's china tea pot... so special

- mom's very high blood pressure came down

- music

- new furnace

+ I feel ready for the oncoming snow - just need to haul some wood this morning
+ the red primrose on my kitchen table

+ progress towards an orderly house

- power went out, but - came back on . . . I am very very grateful

- DS, DIL, and GS are ready for their 10 - 20 inches of snow

- the ice is covering everything everywhere - we are safe - Mom, Aunt Mackie, Rachel are safe

- my teenage neighbor came over yesterday just to talk about the beauty of all the ice - I heartily agreed

- new furnace and it's wonderful heat for our home

- family, friends, you all, fb, cell phone, internet

+ Ernie dropped in last night - a nice visit
+ Disney behaved beautifully at Pet Therapy - she has been reluctant lately
+ I managed to bring in my own firewood yesterday
+ a warm house, a supply of good food and water
+ a day with no running around even possible!
+ John is staying in Toronto tonight instead of driving home through the remains of the storm

- always possibilities each and every day

- talked to DS - so excited about going Disney

- cleaned out drawers yesterday - some decluttering is in order and feels good

- ordered jacket - shopping via the internet is something for which I am grateful

- music

- cousin's got their heat back last night - that's wonderful

- willingness to plan - I am weary of figuring out soft food, low sodium, non spicy, healthy food for my plan. Grateful I will keep trying.

+ feeling strong enough to do some shoveling

+ nice long chat with Liz - she had a "snow day"!

- seems like the big storm is about over nationwide- good, enough is enough

- Mom and I had such a good time at the beauty shop in her apartment. We both had a 'tune up' (she calls it). Wash, cut, color.... I love going there and hanging out with the seniors and mom's friends.

- answers for my sister

- music - so many kinds of music to enjoy

- family, friends, you all....
