Unhappy Grrrrr!

This is the most frustrating thing I have EVER done. I lost 11 pounds the first week…I’m on Day 23 and not a pound since. I work out 14 hours a week and eat around 1200-1600 calories. I’m having a hard time with this! Any support you can give is needed!

You're doing fine!

Really.

You lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks. That's over 3 lbs per week.

I suspect your body is just readjusting.

If by next week you haven't seen the scale go down, start tracking your calories in detail to see if you're eating more than you think.

have you tried measuring? your weight may have hit a plateau, but sometimes while its disgusting you may notice other changes, such as firming and inches coming off.

Good luck, and congrats

I track my calories and weigh my food. I have been very careful...so I'm not sure why its not moving. Maybe my body is just readjusting...I swear I want to quit and go back to my old ways!

I haven't measured since the second week, the inches didn't change much. I will measure tommorrow.

You can absolutely go back to your "old ways" and see the scale move- up!

But seriously, hang in there. Sometimes we have fabulous weeks and then we have to give some of it back. Your body likely doesn't know what the heck is going on- and what it's supposed to do! Keep up the good work!

The first week you lost 2 lbs of fat and 9 lbs of water. Since then, you've been regaining the water and shedding fat.

How many calories are you burning at your workouts- 14 hours in one week means 2 hours a day means MUCHO calories burned, your body may be holding on tight to each calorie so you may want to either try increasing calories or decreasing workouts.

maybe you can switch up your workout plan. if you're doing the same things over and over your body gets adjusted to that type of workout.
and usually you lose the most weight in the first week or two. dont stress your doing amazing!

14 hours of working out! What kind of working out are we talking about? If that is all slow walking then I'd say persist on, but if we are talking about any kind of decent working out, then you're under eating assuming that you are more in the lower end of your range most of the time. I'd try to get your cals in the 1400-1800 range if you intend to keep up that kind of exercise. Good luck!

Don't forget that you are changing your body. Lots of changes. I have been working out for 2 months and having seen the scale move much at all. I started at 185 and am only at 178. I'm not saying I was perfect with my eating but my working out is very consistent.

I know we are scale obsessed. I am a scale addict myself. But I read somewhere that what you are weighing is just your weight. It doesn't show what you are weighing.... How much fat vs. muscle. I bet you are changing fat into muscle.

So hang in there. keep it up. Try taking pictures. You can't see changes day-to-day yourself, but I bet if you took pictures you could see slight changes.

Hope this helps.

Keep going! Don't stop from your current diet and exercise. I'm a firm believer of the type of calories you intake it has to be balance so watch what kind of calories you are eating. Maybe change your workout's intensity too. good luck!

THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT! I measured this morning and I have lost about 3 inches. Clothes are feeling looser. The scale still hasn't budge.

I'm walking...doing a mile in about 15-20 mins. Climbing Stairs at work, Riding my bike, lifting 5lbs, I sweat but not working too hard.
