Question help! what 2 do re: after-workout cravings???

hi ladies!

this time around on the beach i have discovered the gym and, to my great surprise, it is great fun & addictive (not to mention the benefits for my bad back!!)
here's the thang: it's become obvious that my body is not
satisfied with P1 appropriate grub, i.e. chicken&green salad afterwards. the (carb?) cravings last all day! i tried strawberries&lf yogurt, 1 tbslp PB, glass of milk etc.
would it be okay to have some wholegrain carbs after w/o
adverse effects? what is your experience? puh-leeze let me desperate!

MAJOR GOAL 99 KILOS (218 lbs)
