My husband had signed up to do the 13.1 Los Angeles this coming Sunday. I was looking on the website and saw that there was a 5K, at first my SIL said she would run with me then backed out. But I'm already registered. I plan to start training (running) next week (I've been doing an elliptical and other stuff at home).
My goal is to run/jog the whole thing. I'm terrified. I haven't done a 5K in 2-3 years.
You can totally do it! Just remember to walk when you need and take your time since it's your first one back--no need to push too hard and take all the fun out of it! You are going to feel so great afterward!
