Default WATP - Jan Daily check in

I hope I am not treading on toes here. I'm Vanessa, and I havent been on this board for quite a while. But I was very motivated two years ago doing the Walk away the Pounds dvds. I only have the old ones. I had the one mile walk and just recently gave it to my mother to do. I am doing the two mile walk every other day. I also have Walk and Jog and Walk and kick.

Which walk away the pounds dvds do you do?

I would like to be accountable again and feel the benefits. Two years ago, my colleague started a WATP group and we would stay back three times a week and WATP. I changed jobs last year and I miss that group. I am hoping to gain the friendship again here.

So let's WATP and make some friends.

I used the Mini Walks dvd from the boost cable series and did the Gentle 1 Mile Walk and the Brisk 1 Mile Walk.

My favorite is.......all of them! haha! I really do love them. I was so happy to find you guys, I sooooo need to be held accountable for my exercise regimen.

I started with the 1 mile and now try to do the 3 mile a few days a week. I also have all the bands and dvds too! Love to mix it up!

Nice to meet you and I'll be sure to check back with all you "walkers"!

Happy New Years to one and all

1 mile slim down and resistance bands, as a warm up for horse back riding.

Santa brought some nice paddock boots and half chaps. Riding has even more fun. Trotting over obstacles in a 2 point position. I must say, I was not a bit sore (I will see tomorrow:-)) from 2 weeks out of the saddle. WATP along with proper diet, has kept me in excellent physical health- rain, cold, or shine. What more could I want?

Hello Ladies! Happy New Year to all of you.

I decided to put my bicycle up on a trainer so I can ride it during this cold winter in the garage. My brother also gave me an Air Stepper he was not using anymore. I thought I would give it a try. I have used it a couple of times and will add it to my weight loss tools.

My Polar Heart monitor arrived today. I plan on setting it up this evening and use it the rest of the week. I will share the calories burned and heart rate info for the different LS workouts.

Saturday - 3-Mile Bootcamp, yoga workout
Sunday - 30 mins on bike, 15 mins on Air Stepper
Today - 3-Mile Work Away Your Waistline w/Ab Belt and 2.5 mile walk at lunch

2 mile fat burn, no resistance bands. A lot of carrying with horse riding tack.

Greatly enjoying the new Taubes book. I finished Breaking the Vicious Cycle and then Primal Blueprint. Why We Get Fat is a nice follow up.

hey gang

I did 2 miles this morning. I used the 5 mile Fat Burning Walk.

jar1965 - WELCOME!!! and CONGRATS on the 51 lbs lost! that is awesome! have you done it using Leslies workouts? that is very cool that your cousin works for Leslie. have we seen her in any of the workouts? or is she behind the scenes?

Toonses - let us know you like the polar heart monitor.

I received this info in the past about Leslie's walks. we burn about 100 calories per mile. on the boosted walks we burn about 125 calories per mile. so on a 3 mile workout we burn between 300 to 375 calories.

Annie - isn't it great to get new dvds!!!

Karen - horse riding sounds great!

tle1103 - I love the verse in your signature line!

later gaters

Thumbs up 2miles done.

Hi

I want to be accountable to someone so I decided to just post here about committing to a program of watp workouts plus my foodplan. It's been a long time since I exercised regularly and frankly you'd think all that "relaxing" would have me feeling good and rested but instead I have been feeling worse and worse; unhealthy and weak and exhausted all the time.

Blech!

So I just did a 2mile watp workout and I feel like I did something good today.
My personal watp goal is to do something every day of the week starting today.

January goal = 1/28workouts done

Thanks for listening.
