No matter what is happening in your life. . . lots of good things or not so good things - there are always things for which you can be grateful. It always puts life into perspective.
Please feel free to join in. It feels good!
Studies show that this daily task can have a positive impact in your life!
- a day/year and a new time to work on getting it right
- willingness to THINK about trying - I can never stop trying because the alternative is bleak
- fun with neighbors to bring in the new year. The little children stayed up! We had noisemakers and fun stuff for them. They toasted with sparkling grape juice and felt special - as well they should because they are special.
- stepmom is feeling better
- family, friends, 3fc
- music
- FB, internet, cell phone

Today I am grateful for
- having made it to 2011 - several friends didn't
- a springlike break before winter returns tomorrow
- my friends who had an impromptu party here last night
- a fridge full of healthy foods
- remembering to do the Church bulletin early this week - no Saturday rush
- feeling in control of my weight once again - small goals work best for me
Thank you to BeverlyJoy for starting this thread, both this month's and the original. It has helped me immensely. I have had a full house for a 1.5 weeks and did not get here much but I am back to be a regular poster.
Today I am especially grateful:
* I got to spend 1.5 weeks with DD, DSIL, and the precious grandchildren.
* 3FC - I don't think that I could be my present weight without the support of all my friends here
* The pain in my shoulder is better.
* We have enough leftovers that I won't need to cook for a couple of days.
* More than enough
I am grateful for having found a lifestyle that has seen me from a BMI over 40 to a BMI under 25. I am optimistic that it will see me successfully into and through maintenance.
I am grateful for having the eyesight and stamina to drive late at night, so I can go to a nearby big city to visit friends and attend cultural events and still be able to drive home that night.
I am grateful for my self-sufficiency. I am grateful that I get along well with my coworkers and have a couple of friends but am not in a position of dependence. (Long story, maybe some other time.)
- yesterday was a healthy, on plan day, I am so grateful. I really needed to pull it together. We went to our cousin's for the bowl games. I didn't eat any of the goodies -I am very grateful for the willingness.
- fun to see our cousins and Aunt Mackie.
- ate lots of veggies yesterday
- talked to DS yesterday - his new job is going very well for him --- I am grateful
- my 3fc friends who are always here for me and each other. It's a wonderful friendship and caring created via this wonderful invention called the internet. Am very grateful.
