Default Bounce wrangling

Hm. Well after the big deal of hitting the 150s, just, 159.8, I bounced back to 162.8 yesterday, OK, no biggy, it happens, and a massive 163.2 today!

I'm not Aware of mis-eating but I will make sure today and tomorrow that I am ultra vigilant, it is so easy to see things slip. Concentrate, woman!

Blah - I hate bounces!!! You're right, it is easy to let things slip, but it could also just be normal fluctuations too - I'm sure you'll be back to the 150's in no time - I can't wait to join you!

I'm fortunate not to bounce so big. It's nice weighing daily though so you know it's nothing, ya know?

I thought the "bounce" was going to be about rear ends. It's a great day when you realize the back section is no longer "bouncing", but "jiggling"!

*waves hand* I'm a bouncer too. I see it, I claim it and then it will bounce up and then go even further below the old low! Be patient.

Sorry to hear about the weight bounce wrangling. Under the weight loss support forum there is a sticky called: Fluctuations in Scale Weight and Water Weight that you might be interested to read. It's intresting all the things that effect our weight. Hang In There!

I'm really sorry you're having to deal with a bounce, it's the pits isn't it.
So far I've been lucky in that my bounces are usually 2lbs approx, but they are still so difficult to deal with.
I've been weighing daily for sometime now, but I really don't think it's working for me anymore and I'm trying to decide on a suitable point where I'm going to go back to daily weighing. Not sure just yet whether that is going to be when I hit goal, or if I should do it sooner. Have even considered weighing tomorrow (Xmas Eve) then not again til New Year's Eve because I know the bounce Boxing Day is going to be a killer for me and I'm feeling down about my life right now as it is.

Thanks for all the support, ladies.

I suspect it may be a combination of "my usual pattern" plus possibly extra sodium in the meal I had made for me on Tuesday evening - there was canned soup and Christmas pudding, there could have been anything in them! I'm glugging the water today!

Could be your time of the month is coming if you still get it. I always show like a 1 or 2 pound loss right before TOM is due because I hold onto to 2 or 3 pounds of water but today it was all gone down 3 pounds from last saturday hope to be down 2 more by Saturday so I can reach my christmas goal just keep checking the scale it will go back down.

I totally thought this post was going to be about some body part bouncing!

Mine did that to me recently too. I got a new low number over the weekend but it went right back up. Just stick with it, it'll come off!

Yes, sodium is 90% of the time my culprit........if not that....then dehydration becuase my body becomes desperate and holds onto all the fluids I intake just keep itself safe. It's still an issue I have to work on daily, is to remember to drink my water !

Yeah, those suck! Yesterday I was 266 and today I was 271. I have been completely 100% on plan and today was the first day I was NOT bloated (been off gluten since sunday, finally starting to feel a little better!). I woke up and looked in the mirror naked and thought wow finally not bloated! My bf even commented and said I looked like I"d lost weight.

So I weighed.

I gained 5 lbs since yesterday. Normally I'd say oh water...but. I dont' FEEL bloated and I LOOK better. I'm so confused.

Lottie, I'm often like that ~ I can have bony ankles all week (my barometer), one morning I wake up and they're all puffy and I'm saying, Great, all this work and another water gain - and I'm down. Hoping it happens tomorrw!

I too always have huge bounces (up to 4-5 lbs) after I've had a significant drop (of more than 3lbs). For example, I hit a low of 206 a couple of weeks ago and then due to TOM and general weighloss gremlins, I bounced back up to 210.5 the following day and then up and down like that. I'm finally back down to 206 so just keep plugging away and things will stabilize. It DOES suck though!
