Default Cleaning out my closet today :)

I've lost enough weight now that many clothing items are too big, so I'm going to gut my closet of clothes that are currently too big, as well as summer clothes - some of which currently still fit, but that I have no intention of still fitting into 4-5 months from now

No going back now

I've been doing the same thing. It's fun! I love how my closet is looking. It used to be so OVERSTUFFED. Now it is more maneageble!

Oh it is fun! Try on some of them and see how good it makes you feel that they are sooooo big on you now. :-)

A lean closet is refreshing. Open it up, see everything at a glance, and know that EVERYTHING will fit!

Yay!! That is so much fun. I have been doing that too. It feels weird throwing out all those clothes (donating to thrift stores) it's like all or nothing. My safety net is gone along with all that extra weight

"a Lean closet" - I love it!

I've
de-cluttered mine of all the too big stuff
made it lean
but now
I've re-stocked it, mainly from charity shops, ebay and cheap stores
and now when I look into it, I'm almost overwhelmed. I have choices! I have clothes that look good, rather than just fit! I'm so overwhelmed that a couple of skirts have got too big for me since I bought them and scarcely wore them, because I tend to still stick to the same couple of outfits like I used to do when I was way fatter and only had the couple.

Sounds like a good plan, Spixiet. I have to do this soon as well. I have three pairs of jeans and they are all too big for me. I think I'll wait for another 16 pounds and then start it. Congrats on the 'lean' closet job.

How exciting! I'm cleaning out
my closet when I hit goal
weight. Most of my clothes
are already too big on me
but I don't want to buy
new clothes until I reach 120.

Awesome, it sounds like you're preparing for success. I've been doing the same although on a much smaller scale. I dug out all the 18's from 2007 that I had packed away and got rid of all my 20's.

I wish we had a clothing exchange here at 3FC because I would love to get you guys' hand me downs instead of having to buy new things every few months.

Oh Siera- I just can't wait for goal weight. Everytime something is baggy I like to get rid of it. I have been working too dang hard to cover the new curves up with too big clothes. However I have found myself a bit perturbed at shrinking out of some new clothes that I have just purchased. especially my Enell bras. I need a good bra for working out and they are so dang expensive... but I am down 3 cup sizes... I still need a lot of support on that RACK!
