Staying Active During the Winter
I have a pedometer, and I try to get in 5000 steps every day BEYOND my normal workout. During warmer weather, I dropped under that maybe twice a week, and the number of steps I got in on other days more than made up for it. Now on most days I'm lucky if I get 2500 steps in. I'm inside all day, and it's just to cold to get up and do much. I'm a serious couch potato.
My house is small so pacing gets old really fast. I try to get up every so often and make a cup of tea, but the kitchen is close and it doesn't really seem to help my step count.
Anyone else have this problem?
