I had my hysterectomy on October 11th. The doctor had me go off all supplements and started eating more dairy the week prior and has just released me as of yesterday to go back on program 100%. I had a difficult time during recovery with depression and unfortunately, I allowed that to affect my eating. I weighed yesterday for the first time since October 2nd and am proud to tell you that I lost 5 lbs. Now comes for the bad part, all of it was muscle mass. I am still on restriction from strenuous exercise and stretching so I am not able to get back to lifting weights or yoga. I have been riding my recumbent bicycle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can stop the loss of muscle and gain some back?
On a side note: The loss of muscle mass has dropped my goal weight by 20 lbs.
