Soldier's safe return prayers
I just wanted to start a place where we could pray for our loved ones and friends that are in harm's way. Let us not forget that they are fighting to protect our freedoms which include the freedom to pray to the Almighty God.
You may add your loved ones name for prayers or offer the prayer(s) yourself.
They need the protection of our God.
Oh mighty God, there are so many men and women, those that we love and care for, who need you right now. Wrap your hands around them Lord and protect and cover them. They are so far from home Lord, but not from you. Be there day and night as their armour. Lord, bring each and every one home safely to us.Amen
I just want to include my nephews Jason and Marshall Blackmon in this prayer list.

^PRAYERS ASCENDING^ for all the soldiers around the world -- including our CANADIAN Soldiers & Peacekeepers who do such good volunteer work on a continual basis ... may GOD BLESS THEM & KEEP THEM SAFE FROM HARM & BRING THEM HOME ASAP! May these worldly conflicts end in a peaceable manner, so all of them can be free to come home once again ... in JESUS' name we ask & thank you, Father ... Amen & Amen.

I have no one close to me over there, thank the Dear Lord but I pray for all the soldiers over there. I also pray for those that are doctors, nurses over there and the ones training others in jobs over there.
I pray for the men and women in the United States and Canada, that become doctors , nurses , soldiers, Texas Rangers, EMS & Firefighters, police officers, people that work in soup kitchens , red cross ,build roads, teachers, farmers, ranchers, volunteers I pray for all of you and you are much appreciated by this old Texan , you are the heart of America and Canada.

In Honor of our veterans, for Veterans Day, we sang the following song as the recessional hymn yesterday at church.
The tune is from the song For All The Saints ~ http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/f/a/fallthes.htm
Of Loved And Fallen Soldiers
Of loved and fallen soldiers let us sing,
And words of gratitude and honor bring,
In praise to God with voices echoing,
Alleluia, alleluia.
For freedom's sake in service to the end,
Each sacrificed a life as loving friend:
So let our thanks to God for them ascend:
Alleluia, alleluia.
May tributes made be more than memory,
As in this nation, resolute and free---
We pray to God for lasting liberty.
Alleluia, alleluia.

Oh Lord, protect our men and women serving in our armed forces. That they may be forever accompanied by you always Lord.Through their unselfish efforts Father, we are allowed to worship and praise you openly. Be their rear guard, O Mighty One, let not another perish or be injured. If You are with them Lord, who can stand against?

This is a GREAT thread! Thank you for starting this up! I would like to add my husband, Matthew to the list. He is in harms way right now serving our country and I pray every day for his safe return.

Almighty Lord, I pray protection and covering for Jason, Marshall & Matthew. Father, let no weapons brought against them prosper. Be their armour oh Lord. Wrap your loving hands around them and protect them. Give them the courage to face the enemy Lord. Let them know oh God, that if You are with them, there is nothing that can stand against them, for You are their rear guard. Amen
