Intuitive Eating #13
On to IE #13. Eat when you are hungry, stop when satisfied.

Sorry to hear that the gout is back. I have never had it and hope to never have it, but I understand it can be quite painful. HOpe it gets better. Have a blessed day. Tammy

Is the tiredness and weakness caused by the gout? I know they usually put you on a special diet and if I remember correctly you don't get to eat that much of a variety of foods, but I could be wrong.

Well for hubby's birthday I got him a turkey fryer that does not use oil, it uses infra red heat, we are going to try it with a chicken this weekend, we love fried turkey, but we have such a small family that the oil usually costs 4 times what the turkey costs! Plus this is a much healthier alternative. Will let you know how it turns out. Tammy

Good Morning all! Weighed in this morning, I am down 1.5 and hubby down .5
Happy about the loss, read the book Diets Don't Work, it's out of print got a used copy from amazon, now I ordered the follow up book, Diets still don't work, had some interesting points, the author wrote the book in the late 90's
probably one of the first people to write about IE. I hope you all have a blessed day! Will check in after I get off work this afternoon. Tammy

I don't use the blogs or look at them. Maybe I should!!! Still a little under the weather. Great for reduced appetite.

I was just wondering about the blogs, don't know if I could keep one up, it's hard enough to find the time to get to my posting that I love to do. I sure hope things get better for you soon, it's good for reduced appetite, but no fun being sick. Will pray for you at Mass in the morning. God Bless. Tammy

MOrning all, Sorry Carol, I've been slacking with posting. Eating has been pretty bad. I've been over eating and eating crap. Not weighing in till the 15th to get myself on track. My monthly exercise goal has helped me keep on track working out.
Carol I know you're doing IE, but did you ever think about watching your sodium?
@CatholicCajun I've had a blog and it helps me personally with venting, accountability, and when I want to track certain things. I've looked at other blogs occasionally, but I've never bothered to read any of them regularly.

Obi, I honestly don't like salty foods in general.
