Wink Okay, 3 days is up.

Okay, okay. So I sort of binged. It wasn't planned at first, but then I decided to just do it. BUT I didn't eat outrageously. So I don't know if it was a legit binge or more of a controlled binge, if there's a difference. The last 3 days I ate pretty much whatever I wanted. Surprisingly, it wasn't THAT much. Mostly it was just soup. The soup had broccoli in it! lol (as if that makes a difference) Either way, I'm back on track today.

The thing is, I got my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD in the mail yesterday. AND the scale is down to 171.2 today. I'm surprised it hasn't continuously said like, 173.something (which it did the day I got home). I know I shouldn't really pay attention to what the scale says every day, but I'm seeing a pattern, and I'm pretty sure the scale will just keep going down again until I'm at 170.something. That just seems to be how it works. Plus, I moved boxes up and down stairs at my friends house, then did a lot of yard work yesterday, so that probably helped a bit.

BUT. I'm not sure if I would have been able to break the binge if I didn't get this DVD. I'm so excited. Has that ever happened to any of you? You sort of fell off the wagon, then saw something/something happened that excited you and made you hop right back on, instead of maybe taking "just one more day" off?

I did fall in the yard yesterday and sprain/possibly worse my ankle, so I can't really do anything for a few days, but I'm going to pop it in and check it out. How many of you really like this? Is it really for "Advanced" people? I'll just take it slow, either way.

I think getting this DVD in the mail was exactly what I needed. I'm so exited.

That's great that the dvd has stopped your binge. I LOVE the 30 day shred by the way. It's tough, but a short workout and a really good one. Prepare to be SORE!

They had the 30 day shed on sale at Wal-Mart last year real cheap...so I bought it. I'm thinking it is the only money I spent on actual weight loss this time around. (I vowed to never spend a dime again to lose weight when I started this whole thing). I did it for 2 days in a row, could barely walk for a week and have never tried it again. hehe I hated it and I never could make it on the biggest loser because I would be crying and puking with the wimps.

Now I don't feel so bad . I also gave up on the shred after three days. I couldn't even sit down on the toilet, it was so bad. The workout didn't seem that intense when I first did it but OMG the next day was just brutal. I think the trick is to stick to it and let the body adjust.... but hey, I am a wimp like Lori LOL

Good for you on breaking your binge. Sometimes a little break can be refreshing. I did the same thing on a three day camping trip but luckily I didn't gain either. Practicing maintenance and making a good food choices without counting everything, can be a good skill to practice. Good luck on the shred
