Default low cal bread and the restroom...

I just started eating the low cal bread with 35 calories. I was reading on the back that they add all of this vegetable fiber to fill the bread giving it 7g of fiber instead of the normal 1g in regular bread. I can deal with the taste but I keep having to go to the restroom. Did anyone else experience this with the low cal breads? Does this get better?

You will adjust! I have a Mission Carb Balance wrap with breakfast every morning - it has 21 grams of fiber. Then I usually eat another 20 g of fiber from veggies, fruit, etc. So I get about 40 g a day. Sounds like a lot, but I started slowly and have adjusted fine. I poop like a champ!

Now, when I go too long without eating a wrap, I can tell!!!

It was recommended by a doc that I do a high fiber diet so I need to get the fiber in but I have been spending so much time in the restroom it's crazy. I thought I had eaten something bad and then I remembered starting the bread a few days ago...

Sorry... I giggled a little. I promise you will adjust. You know... now that you MENTION it... I was having problems with things being a little... um... slow... (ran out of wraps and didn't buy new for a couple weeks) and now that I started with my wraps again this week, I have been having your same problem... I was begining to think I was reacting to something. (I just assumed since I had been used to all the fiber before, that it would be like riding a bike.)

That is totally normal when you start increasing your fiber intake. Your body will get used to it and become more balanced after awhile, don't worry, this won't happen forever. XD
