Hello! I was wondering what people ate for desserts (if anything)?
All spring/summer I've been eating an ice cream bar/sandwich that was 100 calories or less. But now its getting too cold for that. I liked those because they were portion controlled and I could usually stop after just one. I also like the daily 'treat' because I think it prevents me from giving up and binging on an entire thing of brownies.
But now that its too cold I'm wondering what I'll have. I don't think I can have a thing of cookies without wanting to eat more than the one or two serving size. I hate the idea of the buying those 100 calorie packs because i think its a waste of money. But if its all I have available maybe.
My only thought is dark chocolate kisses. I keep them at my desk at work so if i really want something from the vending machine I will have one of those and they are roughly 20 calories each and I don't always have them and I can stop after just one or two. If i eat more they start to taste bad. Another idea I had was hot chocolate. I don't drink tea or coffee so that would be a nice warm treat but it doesn't fill me up at all.
For fall/winter I cut an apple in half and carve out the middle and sprinkle cinnamon and splenda brown sugar and bake for 8-10 minutes around 400 in the oven!
Or 100 calorie snack packs of nabisco cookies or sweet treats!

This is what I do too!
recently I've discovered a hungry girl recipe that is quite tasty! Cube an apple, top with a handful of those hot tamale candies, cover and throw it in the microwave for 2mins. Taste just like apple pie filling...pretty good, roughly 100 calories and very filling. Its not super clean but still pretty good...

No Pudge Fudge Brownies? (the box with the little pig on the front!) They have fudge, hazelnut, and another flavor or two. AND the box gives you directions on how to make one brownie at a time! I sometimes cut up fruit and put on top...
Usually fruit (sometimes dipped in 1-2 tbsp of peanut butter) or a yogurt cup, or sometimes a fruit smoothie. If we're currently low on fruit/yogurt I'll make some jello or pudding.
Theres tons of goodies you can have!! For me dinner is not over until I have had dessert...must have dessert/tv watching snack. These are some of the
things I do.
Sugar free pudding and cool whip
Cold grapes
100 cal bag of popcorn with a Splenda shaken in when its hot (kettle corn!!)
Sliced strawberries and cool whip
2 tootsie pops
Sugar free cocoa with 1/2 a scoop of chocolate protein powder (filling!)
South Beach raspberry chocolate bar
Sans Sucre mousse
1/4 cup egg whites or beaters, sweetner, 1/2 can pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice. Whisk egg, spice and sweetner then whisk in pumpkin. Cover with paper towel and microwave 3 mins! Pumpkin soufflé for about 100 cal!
I love mixing in some fruit, pumpkin puree, or sugar-free cocoa powder into plain non-fat Greek yoghurt. You can mix anything you want in really! A 1/2 cup of the yoghurt by itself is about 60 calories, so as long as you're not mixing in insane amounts of things, it's easy to keep it low cal.
