Question Naan Bread???

Hi--
I am counting calories and only eating complex carbs and limiting those to an extent. I used to love Naan bread, but it is naughty. I have a curry chicken recipe and I want to try and find a healthy Naan. Does it exist? I like the whole wheat Mediterranean flat bread that Trader Joe's has.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I enjoy the Flatout breads, which you can check out at flatoutbread dot com. There's lots of different varieties (wraps for sandwiches, crisps, and so forth) and I bet you could find a suitable stand-in for naan (which, you're right -- is so delicious!).

ahh Na'an how I miss thee! HAHA.
But seriously, if you find a suitable substitute to go with Curry let us know!

Oooooh...naan bread! I have yet to find a replacement for that

Of course, there are a lot of breads out there, but I've found that none of them even come close to the taste of delicious, hot, naan bread! (Can you tell I'm craving?!)

It's not as yummy, but I use whole wheat pita as a replacement for naan. It's whole grain, a piece (or half peice) of the whole wheat is only 90 calories, and it goes well with curry. I warm it up and eat it with dal.

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I've been using the trader joe flatbread and while it is good, it is not Naan. I guess there is no low-cal/low-fat/low carb Naan. If somebody devised one, I'm sure it would sell
