Default fitness issue

Hello!
I'm starting today.. i've already been on this diet and i have to tell that it works..
During the last 3 weeks i lost 7 pounds (it's quite a lot for me) calorie counting and exercising but due to my hypothyroidism i have a muscular lysis (i'm ok.. it happens every couple of years, plus i'm a doctor) and cannot exercise anymore.

Now the question is: according to your experience, will the diet still work even if i'm not exercising?

I have only personally done it with exercise, but it seems to me that most experts agree that weight loss is 80% what you eat. So I would guess that it will indeed still help but probably more slowly. Good luck!

I have had great success with SB with minimal exercise. Working on it though!

maybe saying you 'can't' exercise is a little strong? any extra movement counts. it doesn't have to be strenous, although that's my fav. kind.

My friend and I started SB together in January of this year. She is at goal now, down 55 lbs and never did an ounce of exercise. She detests exercise...lol I'm sure it depends on the person, your body type, etc....but I know it's doable...cause she's done a fantastic job. Now she really wishes she would have exercised though, because she's a little flabby in some areas after losing that weight. So now she's talking about doing some weight lifting to tone up a bit

I lost my first 45 pounds w/ no exercise at all. Just take it easy while you have to and start back on an exercise plan when you're released.
