Daily Intake Carb Count Thread
Hey everyone - Back when I used to count calories we had a daily intake thread. It was really nice to see what everyone was eating for Bfast, lunch and dinner.
I usually post this in the something for dinner thread but figured I would start a new thread for daily intake if anyone wants to join me! I hope you will post! I'd love ideas for bfast and lunch too!
Thanks!

It looks like your doing a modified induction with nuts but low carb count. I was thinking about trying to do that. OWL seems to be maintenance for me so I'm doing a modified version of induction to drop the remainder of the weight and then I start maintenance

Yeah - the first time I did atkins I didnt realize nuts were a no no and ate them and lost 20 lbs in a month! I am hoping that I can still eat them (not every day) so long as I watch my carb counts. I think they are verboten because they are calorie dense (same w lots and lots of cheese) so I just try to be aware of that and lighten up in other places. They really fill me up! If I stall out I will be eliminating them and cheese....
10/18/10
bfast 3 eggs (3), coffee with half pack s and l (.5)
lunch cobb salad with ranch dressing (out to lunch w a gf) total (10)
dinner - 1 cup veggies (4) with butter and roast chicken (1)
total - 18.5
exercise = 30 minute walk
goal - drink LOTS of water. No alcohol this week (still sat.... I have a party but will keep it to carb free vodka with soda water!)

I would like to go back to my almonds as a snack. I used to eat about 1.5 g of carbs worth, but switched to bison pepperoni for Atkins. I think they have good fats and they really help with my hunger without making me go nuts (no pun inteaded)
Today I'm horribly under on my carbs and under on my calories. I don't know what to eat, and may just have some grape tomatos with a bit of mayo and lettuce before bed if need be.
Breakfast: 3 eggs (1.5) Coffee with 1 scoop coffee mate and 1 sugar twin (2.5)
Lunch: Turkey and ham breast slices (.4) 1.5 oz grape tomato (2.5) 1.5 oz romaine (1) and some mayo (0)
Dinner: Chicken Breast (1) with 1.5 oz cheese (1.5) and two tbsp salsa (1)
That's only 11.4 Too many low carb foods, need more veggies.
I'll look for something to snack on later!

How are you feeling on that low? I also notice you don't have a lot of fat in there....
I stayed exactly on plan today and drank lots of water. I dont feel snacky and I can tell I have transitioned to burning fat. I feel good.
I personally like the nuts so I eat them

readyfreddy, I feel fine. That's the sucky part. I'm not hungry because of atkins so I have to find little ways to raise my calories and fat. I didn't put butter in there, but I was using that for extra fat, plus the mayo. Sometimes I'll make bacon to add in some more fat and calories (and the carbs aren't too bad)
I guess it's all about finding balance still. I have days like this, and then the day before (I didn't post everything because it was a mess) I was at over 1400 calories and right at 20 g of carbs with everything I ate. I just need to plan better I guess. Because the planning get's hard, I usually make breakfast and lunch together, count everything, and then what I'm missing I incorporate it into dinner.
I think I'll go veggie shopping today when I get my new jeans
