Default Atkins Pumpkin Cheesecake

Has anyone tried the Pumpkin Cheesecake on the Atkins website? My birthday is coming up and I'm in OWL (starting there since I have 10 pounds to lose) and thought I would make this instead of birthday cake.

Lots of others are coming over, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried it and if it would be good enough to pass off as regular cheesecake?

The only one I know of is this one http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/recipe...kin-Cheesecake

Someone else posted it here, by the comments you can see in that link a lot of people love it and say it's better than the real thing.

I'm planning on grocery shopping today and getting the ingrediants, I'll let you know how it tastes!

Thanks for this posting and recipe. I am planning to make a pumpkin cheesecake to take to thanksgiving dinner on Sunday (Canadian Thanksgiving weekend) and can use this recipe. I want to have some dessert I can eat, and pumpkin will be Thanksgiving-y.

I got the ingredients for it yesterday! I'm soooo excited. I'm on OWL and I'm going to make this today. If it tastes good, I'll make a second one for Sunday dinner. It's sugar free and low carb and no gluten so my mom and I can have it (she's diabetic and they always seem to have cake so we both miss out on dessert)

Be sure to tell us how it is! I'm still going to be on Induction on Thanksgiving but if it's any good I'm going to make it for a treat so I can have dessert too. If you look at lowcarbfriends.com and click on "recipe room" http://lowcarbfriends.com/recipereview/ there's tons of other cakes and cheesecakes that you and your mom could probably eat. I trust the ones with a lot of good reviews.

I'm glad it's good! Hopefully your mom likes it too if you decide to make it for her.

Thanks for trying it out! I'll make it on Monday. I'm going to add some dark chocolate curls on top, I think...

I wasn't sure if I was being too graphic! Haha

I love food like this, because I can make it for my friends who think gluten free or low calorie or atkins friendly food is gross.

I gave it to my two friends who give me a ride home and right away I got a text message saying it was so good she was eating it in the car.

I'll have to make another tomorrow night for Sunday dinner, the extra one I made Wednesday will go to a work potlouck tomorrow, I want the Sunday one to be fresher and I want to press some pecans around the top before I cool it. I know it's extra carbs but I think it would make it look a lot prettier haha.
