Default Hard to work out during TOM?

I am having a hard time wanting to work out now that TOM is here...I just feel so blah, and my cramps are SO bad! I am going to be attatched to my heating pad all day I swear. Its the only thing that works. Is this normal though? Anyone else find it hard to work out during this time?

I think it is normal to feel that way. But I find if I can push thru and do a little cardio it actually helps with the cramps.

I've been lucky enough my whole life that I've never really had cramps except half a dozen times or so. (feel free to scowl at me for that ) but when I do, i found that a brisk walk was always incredibly helpful. It may not have been as much as I had hoped, but it's getting me moving and feeling better.

On a side note, is it odd that I never had the 'normal' pms symptoms until I started loosing the weight? I've always wondered about that

No, I actually find the exercise (the higher the intensity the better, like Zumba) really helps. I'd like to maybe just snooze, but I feel so GOOD after working out that it's worth motivating myself.

Advil Migraine Strength gel caps work wonders.

I'm totally opposite of the ladies here. I have always suffered from BAD cramps. Anyway, they WILL stop during my cardio, but they always.. always always, come back with a vengeance after. I don't know why. I do it anyway, but I end up on the couch with a heat pack and some vicodin after :/
