Talking 2 years of weight loss

Today is my two year anniversary of weight loss.

My scale is still not here but I'm somewhere around 210ish I would imagine. No cheats, treats of the sort and my size 14 pants are getting looser.

In TWO YEARS I have...

went from a size 32 or 5x to a 14 or XL (sometimes even large!)
regained my mobility. Now I was never unable to walk... but I can RUN and climb and jump and take a fitness class without dying!
taken YEARS off my life
learned habits that I will never be able to shake... GOOD habits

what I still have to work on:
celebrations are NOT an excuse to eat, overeat, eat "bad" things
there is always something coming up... a night out, a holiday dinner, a birthday party... STAY ON PLAN
failing to plan is planning to fail.

MY GOAL for the next year:
On September 27, 2011 weigh 150 pounds or less
keep going twice weekly to my groove class
purposeful exercise at least 4-5 times a week
COME HERE AND POST every day. I'm ALWAYS checking in but not taking time to write and respond!

I thank the Goddess every single day for my chickies

The best two year anniversay ever (except wedding, of course) I am so proud of you. Your perserverance is amazing and so commendable.

You said: there is always something coming up... a night out, a holiday dinner, a birthday party... STAY ON PLAN

This is so so true...one could constantly find a 'reason' in their mind to allow themself to overeat for a special occasion several times a week or more. It's a wonderful goal. You CAN do this.

I love this post. It always impresses me when people are up front about not only their success and goals but where they have room for improvement. And it reminds me to focus on my areas that need improvement too, so thanks for that

You have achieved so much, very inspiring!
