My new scale came in. Throughout this journey I have been weighing at home on a 20+ year old scale that I knew was not accurate. Still, it showed that my weight was going down, so I didn't worry about it..... much anyway. I kept putting off getting a new scale because, based on weighing at the doctor's, I knew it was about 10 pounds off. I kept putting off getting a new one. I would rather see 290 than 300 or 250 than 260 and certainly, 199 rather than 209.
Anyway, the old scale finally died. It could not decide if I weighed 224 or 142. So I ordered a new scale that came in Saturday. I dreaded weighing, but this morning stepped up. The results were exactly 10 pounds more than my last weigh in on the old scale. So I went from 188 to 198.2. I feel like I gained 10 pounds overnight.
I am reminding myself that I have still lost over 100 pounds. That has been confirmed at dr. visits. I still look the same and wear the same size clothes that I wore last week. I adjusted my ticker and added 10 pounds to my starting weight. At least I am still under 200 pounds.
So now to get out of the 190s..........
again!
