Default Melons, I love thee!!!

Crenshaw, canary, orange-fleshed honeydew...oh how I love thee. The melons out here are so sweet right now, it's like eating candy. I'm eating half a melon a day (and I am keeping track of the calories), and I get sad if it's a couple days away from the farmer's market and I've run out...but right now, Crenshaw yumminess for dessert

and to those of you who thought I was talking about boobs...for shame, for shame

I read melons & thought of honeydew right away! They are like candy, yum.

I think people spend too much time hating food, or avoiding it, so to start a thread just because you like a food that's good for you...keeps us all going strong! thanks!

I have big melons. lol..

I do love cantaloupe and watermelon (w/o the seeds). I like to cut up the melon and put them in chunks in a zip lock bag so I can have them to munch on at a later time.

Melon is, unquestionably, my favourite fruit. When they're in season, I eat them literally every day, and I get paranoid that I'm going to miss the last of the melons if I don't go to the greengrocer daily!

I hear that.... I'm actually worried because I know that melon season will pretty much be over in the next few weeks. I know there will still be melons available, but they just won't be as sweet Apples are usually really good in the winter, but it's just not the same...
