Pictures and measurements-NSV!!!
I took my measurements last month, along with 3 photos of myself (front, back, and side view) with the intention of checking in after a month and seeing how I did. I hadn't lost much weight in the past month, so I was really hesitant to take my measurements and pictures. I took my measurements yesterday, and overall, the results were not too shabby. I didn't lose any inches in my arms, but I kind of expected that. I did however, lose inches everywhere else. Some places were only quarter of an inch, but some places, like my hips, I lost an inch and a half! When I did my measurements, I made very specific notes of where I was measuring so that I could measure in the same spot each time.
I was still pretty apprehensive about what the pictures would say, so today I finally bit the bullet and took them. I have my other ones saved so that I can make a side by side comparison, and I can actually see a difference! I still have a long way to go, but I can actually tell. My extra chin is smaller, my neck and chest don't look as flabby, my stomach looks (just a little bit) smaller, and my legs look smaller too. Another thing I noticed is that the pants I wore (same ones in both photos) are not skin tight anymore! It's nice to see a change, even though I know I could have worked harder. But still, this shows progress. And what an incentive to keep working! Imagine what the next set of pics could look like!
