Goodbye Lane Bryant
I told myself that when I hit 200 pounds I would rip up my Lane Bryant credit card. Now, I've always loved Lane Bryant...but I've also felt that it is a store for overweight people. I had to shop there because many of the stores I wanted to get clothing from didn't have a size that would fit me. So, I'm ripping up my Lane Bryant Credit Card! Yipppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
One milestone down!!!

Good for you! I can't wait for that day. Just going into that store depresses me. At first I used to go in there with my friend who was overweight. Everything was too big for me so I would occasionally buy jewelry. One day I found that I *could* shop there and it makes me so sad
but it is hard to find cute clothes in larger sizes and they sometimes have cute things.

I actually mourned a little when I could no longer shop in Lane Bryant. It was the one place I could go and KNOW that I would find things that fit. So when I went in there a couple times in a row and discovered that I couldn't really wear anythign there any more, yeah....I was kind of sad. I quickly got over it when I went to Nordstrom, though. Heh!

Congrats! I feel like I'm still pretty far away from saying goodbyw to LB, but it'll be nice when that day comes.

And everyone there is so NICE! That's what I loved. I did not feel judged in that store, ever. I went about a month ago with a friend for a bra for her. The attendant was super nice to her, but snubby to me. It came up in conversation that we were having trouble finding bras because both of us had lost significant amounts of weight. When she found out how much I'd lost, THEN her tune toward me changed. I didn't so much like that. I'm still me!! I don't know....it was just weird.
But now I'm in the land of the judged...and I'm ok with that. I think...

I can't wait for the day that I say good bye to LB. It drives me crazy that i have gone up a size in LB. I hope to be out of LB by my first year wedding anniversary (4-28-2011). Congrats on the weight loss!!

I used to shop at Lane Bryant all the time, but now I can't fit into anything there. Like others have said, it actually made me feel somewhat sad when I couldn't shop in there anymore. But it is definitely a good thing that I can't shop there anymore.
I still use my LB card when I shop at Fashion Bug though and I love their balconette bras, so I will order those when they're on sale.

I've reached this milestone, too, and it was a wonderful realization!
Now, I just have to figure out how to get off their mailing list.
