Default just thought you should see how applebees and other resturants are trying to kill us

http://health.yahoo.net/experts/eatt...staurant-foods

i checked the weight watchers points on the provolone stuffed meatballs and fettuccine, aka the number 1 worst food on the list

its 38 points, the equivalent of two and half of my days worth of food.

They're just adding to the standard American's misperceptions about food portions.

SCARY!!!

Yeah seriously- I always scrutinize the nutrition menu when I eat somewhere- looking for the lowest carb/calorie item I can and ALWAYS drinking water!

im a carboholic! im insane with pasta bread and rice and cereals even.
but im not counting carbs, for me its more about fat, and i eat just around 30g a day, so the provolone centered meatballs = 97g of fat, thats 3 days of fat for me!?

gotta be kidding.

I eat at Applebees often and use the nutrition data to order other entrees that fit with my low cal/reduced carb plan. It is possible and delicious but it takes effort.

No effort in ordering pasta and cheese, KWIM.

Does anyone else think that the Friendly's SuperMelt-Burger-Grilled-Cheese thing is disgusting? Even if I wasn't on a diet I wouldn't order that!
