Default Tuning into Tuesday

Wakey, wakey! The sun will be up very soon and I'm going to greet it with a cup of coffee. It's delightfully cool and breezy, more like October weather, and a welcome relief after days and days of sweltering heat.

I have an early start today, as Cindy had a family emergency and will be away for a few days. We may get some things done around there this morning, then spend the rest of the day at my house. I found a giant zucchini hiding in the garden yesterday, and I think I'll show the girls how to make spaghetti out of it.

What's everyone up to today?

Good morning Cottage How many days until vacation?? Hope the girls enjoy the zucchini spaghetti. I've been buying the huge ones for the dehydrator. Speaking of, I have 10 trays to deal with before I leave this morning.

It's another busy day - car drop off, vote, work, work, work, massage! Then pick up car, fill dehydrator, dinner, exercise, plan tomorrow's travels. Fall down. Guess I better get moving

Cyndi, I'm impressed by your devotion to the dehydrator! I'm just coming to terms with the fact that I simply don't have the room to "stock up" on food. That goes totally against my nature but the last couple of weeks when I have just shopped for the week have meant so much less money and food waste for me.

This morning I started my new yoga video "AM Yoga with Rodney Yi." It has 5 different 20 minute routines that concentrate on a different part of the body. I LOVED it. Since June, I had been doing "Priscilla's Yoga Stretches" each morning for 15 minutes, but I'd kind of hit a wall with that. Hopefully this will be great for going into the fall, and shaking up my fitness routine a bit. This summer I'd had time to take 30 minute walks on a track before work, but I won't be able to do that this fall, so I'm going to have to make some changes.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning from gloriously cool Delta. The dogs and I checked out the morning with our first coffee a few minutes ago. It's cool enough for the velour robe.

Lots of "stuff" on the schedule today starting with the gym and a minor grocery shop. I have Book Club here tonight and need to figure out some simple snacks for the group to nibble with their wine. Our group is called DWARP - Drinkers with a Reading Problem! We DO discuss the books and also have designated drivers since the cops around here are enforcing zero tolerance.

Now for 15 minutes of dog cuddling before I start the day.

Good morning!

Linda, I'd like to be at your house this morning, I would like to see how you turn a zucchini into spaghetti, too.

Cyndi, I woke up feeling refreshed, but I got tired reading your plans for the day! I hope everything goes smoothly and you find a little bit of time to relax during this busy day.

M, I'm figuring out how to change my morning exercise routine to fit my back to school schedule, too. I've been spoiled all summer - walking first thing in the morning every day. The first few weeks of school I go in very early and come home exhausted, so I'm trying to figure out a quick morning exercise routine that will give me a good workout but won't wake DH....

Ruth, it's a velour robe morning here, too. You were on my mind this weekend - I think I saw more cars with Ontario license plates than Maine ones. We seem to be a hot vacation spot this summer.

It's in to school again for me today, but on my own schedule with a long checklist to complete. Tomorrow is the first official day, this summer went very fast. I am looking forward to getting to know my new class. They seem to be a very friendly, happy little bunch. We had a great time at the open house last night.

Enjoy your Tuesday, friends!

Good morning!

It is cooler here today too. I think my son is going to kindly accompany me apple picking this afternoon. I haven't gone in years. And I haven't done it with my kids in forever! Biking if we don't get rain with the cold front. And that's about it.

Have a great day all!

Maybe even with a cup of coffee! Heading to the casino today...funny its about the only way we can get grandma out of the house! LoL. Gorgeous weather here yesterday and I sat outside a good portion of it watching the chipmunks and butterflies. Think I better get going or I may miss the fuzzy morning stuff

Hi Everyone

I had a late start this AM and now everything is off-except that I do have a food plan. I'm going to spend some time decluttering today.

Have a good one!

Seems like a packed day for everyone! Well, my coffee is in hand. Spent the last hour making my breakfast, lunch and dinner. Quite a feat, since I'm more of a convenience gal! Then off to one of my two jobs for a bit. It is supposed to be a sweltering 106F today I wonder if sweating alone is a cardio activity?

I'm so ready for my favorite season: Autumn!!

Morning all! I'm posting late again, company's still here but apparently sleeping in. : ) Breakfast will soon be lunch!

Karen, thanks so much for the exercise advice yesterday. I'm horrible about routines--knowing that it took you a long minute to get into yours makes me feel better! Once I determine what I'm going to do, my initial goal is to do it every day for 6 weeks. (That's how long it supposedly takes to make a habit, right?)

But I will wait until tomorrow, after company leaves.

Have a lovely and cool Tuesday, all you velour-robe wearers! We have one more day of 100+ temp, and then that cold front is supposed to cool us down to 95. Woo hoo. *sigh*

Good Tuesday to ya all!

LastingOne; I'm in the same boat as you today, supposed to be 99°F here today but it is always 3-4° higher than the news forecasts. Sweating should be a cardio activity!!! I would sooooo win at that game, ewwww! LoL. Looking forward to my Autumn as well, such a beautiful season.

Down to 183.8 today, that is 1lbs less than before I went to the river this weekend! I am very happy that my cheat day idea worked out the first weekend I tried it. This may be the plan for me afterall.

Looking forward to a yummy, fresh salad for lunch and a good workout after work! I forgot how much I love SBD and exercising, realy does wonders for body and mind!

Stay cool/ warm all!

I'm jealous of all of you with your cooler temperatures.

regardless of the heat, I think DH and I may brave the heat and take the boys on a bike ride.

Groggy day today. I must get to bed earlier tonight. I'm really dragging this afternoon.

Have a good afternoon, ladies. Off to prepare the dough for my son to make letters out of bread dough. My husband and sons will eat them with dinner tonight. I also have to run to the education supply store and get some things to build my son's kindergarten board.
