Jennelle, I think that they are very right about reality tv giving a bad image to health. I mean, you never see those who are not "beautiful" making it past round one in Joe Millionare or the bachelor. If any of these women were slightly overweight, they would be gone in a second. I have always thought that this was a bad omen for tv and the non size 6 girl.

yeah, it's lucky i have two things that allow me to stand "are you hot"?

1. a sense of humor about mysel
2. an admiration for other people's nice bodies.


i'd have to say that while it doesn't affect ME like that article says, i'm sure it is ruining girls out there (maybe some guys too). what TV won't do for money....

I believe the results might be different for females and males.
What about plastic surgery? I watched "are you hot once" they really tear apart your face too!

I like survivor - they all look nasty at the end... and they don't care!

I think reality t.v is sick and a load of b.s. They make out on surviver how tuff it is and stuff but like there isn't a huge support team there with them. It all reminds me of the novel called "running man" it just shows how extreme these shows can be in the end. I think most of the time it's rehersed and nowhere near as "real" as they make out. Prehaps this is why they are dangerous to our youth who take it all as the truth.

Well, that stuff (Are You Hot? and the dating shows) aren't too cool really... but you see, it's all in the mind of the viewer--- I find them amusing! Entertainment people... entertainment. Perhaps parents should just monitor their children? But let's not get into a heated debate about that stuff.... Peace.
