Hi :) New here...already like this diet.
Hello everyone I started this diet on Monday, August 2nd. I don't really like thinking of it as a diet..but more of a lifestyle change. My world was consumed by my favorites: Bread and Pasta. It has been a challenge these first three days alone, but the scale already makes it worthwhile. Since Monday I have already dropped 2.7 lbs. I'm not completely done reading the book, but I have the general concept down for the first strict phase. Anyways, just wanted to pop in and say hello. I love reading the recipes on here..they sure make dinner a heck of a lot easier on this plan. Hope to talk some of you soon

Great attitude on not thinking of it as diet but a life change.
Diets are something we do till we lose weight and gain it all back again.
Go for health and let the weight take care of itself!!

Great Work. I have to say I completely agree with you I never realized how many bad carbs I truly ate and I refused to believe they were bad for me, but gaining 20lbs in 6mnths and dropping 12lbs in 1.5weeks by cutting them shows the proof

Hey Rosie, welcome! I'm new too, just started on Monday. Hope to bump into you all over the place here!
Kalyn's Kitchen is another great SB recipe site, if you haven't stumbled across it already. (I'm three posts shy of being able to post a link--maybe tomorrow!)

I have seen it..and its helped so much in preparing dinners this week. Breakfast and lunch I'm okay...but at dinner time I have to find something that DH wouldn't mind eating too. Thank you for recommending though Appreciate it! Good luck on your journey too. Maybe we'll be bossom buddies since we started on the same day

Welcome to the Beach! I love this way of eating and have my entire family on it. I love how I can still stay on the plan even tho we go out to eat. I hope you continue to enjoy this plan cuz it really is the best out there!

My only word of caution about Kayln's Kitchen is she has things listed as Phase 1 friendly which aren't. So if you have any question if its ok then ask away!
I also love this way of eating. I can't believe the changes I start to see in just a few short weeks of being on it...its crazy. But good.
Awesome job so far, keep it up!

rosieposie-- i have a really had time satisfying my new lifestyle and DH'S beer belly. haha. i found that making him carbs and not eating it was hard but once i was used to cooking rice and passing on it ..it has gotten easier. and now he knows when i dont make it...DONT ask for it! some days are def harder then others.

I agree, life style change and not a diet, diets are too easy to give up but habits are harder. Get into good habits, your body will thank you later for it.
