Hi, I don't normally do intro threads, but since I've actually been here before I thought I would stop by and say hi. Some of you might have known me as Pita. Because I've been away for so long and have had some major life changes, I really needed this new start and thought using my real name was a good way to begin.
I refuse to say "this time I'm going to lose my weight," because I've already said that like a million-zillion times!! However, it really is time to get real and face my weight loss for the life-sucking obstacle it is!
A friend recently gave me some tough love by saying that if I really wanted to lose weight I would lose it. She said that I must not REALLY mind being fat or I wouldn't be fat. As painful as that was to hear, I do have to admit that she is right. I've been going over and over that in my head and as of yesterday changes are being made.
Wish me luck and it really is so great to be back on this board where wonderful advice and awesome support are so readily given.
