Good job! I do a Zumba class on Saturdays. The rest of the week is walking/the firm/other dvds. But, I'll hang with you on Saturdays for accountability! W2G and keep it up!

Ursula745~ Great!! Can't breath too well right now...and sucking up some nice cold water!!! So happy to see your post. I'd love to go to a live class when I get a little more confident with my moves!

I made it right through to the stretches. Need to get more umph and hip action into it next time. I also have carpeting so I'm trying to find the right kind of support shoe that won't grip the rug; today I used an old pair of white nurse mates OMG!!! thank goodness no one walked through the rooms. Note to self** Hide the cameras!!!!

Hope you have as much fun as I did with your workout today!!

One hour Zumba class today! Loved it. burned 585 calories. When I work out at home, I normally do it barefoot. I like barefoot better. It strengthens my feet and don't have to worry about getting stuck on the carpet.

Great job!

585 calories...your rockin!! I'll try barefoot next time and I'm sure I'll love since I'm always barefoot in the house anyway.

Totally up to you, but be careful. If you are not used to it, you could be sore. If you want to try it you may want to ease into it

I'd love to try Zumba! Do u think it's worth me buying a DVD w/a broken leg? Is there enough upper body moves I can do? Thank you + keep up the good work!

No, I wouldn't do Zumba with a broken leg, but you could go ahead and get a DVD and watch it, so you could learn the timing of the dance steps beforehand and be ready for when your leg is healed.

Happy August!

nurse2be~ I wouldn't recommend trying zumba with anything sprained or broken either! How long do you have to keep that cast on? I feel so bad for you in this heat. Also, make sure when it does come off you take it nice and easy till your totally healed and the doc says you can start jumping around again! (That advise is from the nurse in me!)

Day 5 ~ I kept up almost all the way through this time. Another free day tomorrow, just as well because I have 12 hour shifts on Tuesday.
