I meant to read that thread a couple weeks ago about handling unwanted attention and I just never go around to it and now I need it
In the past I nevered really worried about why anyone was talking to me or paying me any attention (and maybe I need to continue to operate this way), but there have been some situations lately, where men are flat out flirting with me and I don't really know how to handle it. It's not unwanted attention perse, it's flattering, but I'm happily married and really don't need that kind of distraction. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often, I'm generally not in situations where it's appropriate to flirt with me. Most of my life revolves around my son, my DH, my work and my hobbies (which are my me time and people are generally not around). Luckily right now the gym I go to pretty much requires that you're over the age of 80 to walk in the front door, but at some point I'm probably going to have to join a main stream gym and I'm a little intimitated by this.
So anyway, I'm looking for that thread, but I can't find it, has anyone seen it?
Where did that attention thread go?
