Default Am I doing this right?

Just thought I'd let everyone know how I am doing. So far so good. My scale now says 242.5lbs and the first day I weighed myself it was 249.5. I'm guessing it is not all fat since that is a fair bit in three days, or not? If only it would go that well the whole time until I REACH MY GOAL OF 190 LBS
I posted yesterday and got not one reply so I'm guessing that I did not do the right thing.
I have to change my storting weight on my profile because I set up the account before I had gotten the scale and lo and behold...I had packed on a few more lbs. Either that or my scale is heavy(that sounds better)

What a great start!

YEs, it most likely will be slower going, but so what, as long is keep going...

Keep at it, just keep on going, work your plan, tweaking it as you go along, making it yours, making it comfortable. Get the good healthy habits down pat.

Keep on going, no stopping, just continuing and there is no way that you can't reach your goal. It's up to you. You get to decide. You've got the power. You are totally capable of this.

I look forward to hearing of your progress.

Hey Rockinrobin-thanks for the advice...when I see how far you have come I realy should listen to the voice of the experienced!!Congratulations and hope you are having an easy time keeping it off. People have told me that keeping it off is harder than dieting. Have you found that to be true?

Daughteroftheking...how are things going for you? I would love to keep in touch so we can hear of each others progress

My scale is saying not too bad things to me...but if it does I can only blame myself

JJ, there are many Canucks here, (check our the canadian thread in support groups) and several from southern (and even southwest) ontario.

Oh, I was wondering where all tha canucks were, EH?

I'll have to check it out. i too am in rural southwestern Ontario. Yay!!
I'm not having as easy as a go at thisas I thought. I think my glass of wine is worth more points(WW) than I'm counting it to be...eek!

I'm off to find the canadian thread....
