Default LA Weightloss #62

Hello Everyone.....Where has everyone been??

It seems no one has posted over the weekend. Well I went in weighed in on Saturday and I was down 1lb. But I had a really hard time this weekend staying OP. I was good until Saturday. We went to dinner with friends and I had grilled chicken salad. No not tooo bad could have done with out the cheese and bacon...but then we went to the casino and gambled until 2am and by the time we got home it was 3:30am and I was starving.

Soooo that damn old cereal was calling my name so I poured me a cup and ate it dry. I just need to get rid of that cereal because it is my down fall. Then last night I thought I was doing OK. I ate my dinner plus my Luna bar but I had this sweet craving and boy I just gave into it. I went and fixed my self the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Yes...I had two pieces of bread, reduced fat peanut butter, and sugar free light jelly, and it was sooooo good I went to bed filling full and I was just a slight bit upset with myself.

I weigh in tonight and I will see how I do. I am still hoping to be down to 145 by 2/14. I am having the hardest time with the last 5lbs I keep going up and down....hmmm wonder if the PB&J & cereal have anything to do with that

Well that TOM did start this morning maybe that is why I gave in last night....but oh well today is the start of a new week and I have tooo weeks to hit my goal before valentines. I will do it.

Hope to hear from each of you soon.

hey guys, went into the center today and they moved me back into the red plan because of all the exercise i've been doing. said that one reason my weight loss has slowed down is that i'm not eating enough food to maintain my body with all the exercise. so, it's an extra .5 protein and a starch for me.

had a hard time foodwise over the weekend. had the munchies. bought those blasted mini-rice cakes again...the whole bag was gone by the time i went to bed. i absolutely can't have those in the house. now, admittedly, eating too many rice cakes isn't as nutritionally harmful as eating too many chips, but it doesn't help.

still stalled under the 40 pound mark...may do the take off over the weekend if the scale doesn't start moving again...will see what effect the extra food has.

GringaGordita....I know exactly what you mean....your downfall may be the rice cakes my downfall is the Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal...I can eat the whole box...no milk...just plain simple handfuls out of the box. I try to justify that I could be eating stuff that is alot worse for me. I tell myself not to by the cereal but when I am in the store I just throw it in the cart for those moments of weakness that I know I might have.

It is soooo funny that you mentioned getting switched back to the red plan. I spoke with my old personal trainer and he asked me how I lost this weight and I explained to him and he told me that since I work out sooooo much he is afraid that I am not eating enough and that I may stop losing weight. I am planning on asking the center tonight about that. But to be honest the girls at the center are not fitness experts so I think I might schedule an appt with my trainer and see what he recommends. I know that he is certified in exercise and nutrition plus lots of other things.

Well keep up the good work.....we can do this...we can both meet our V-day goals. We can motivate each other.

Hello All....What a rainy, yucky morning.

Well again, weighed in last night and I put on the same 1.6lbs that I lost. I am so struggling trying to get below 150. I would love to be 145 by Valentines Day. As of today, I am setting a goal for myself...and only for me...that I will lose 5lbs by Valentines. You are all my witnesses. I can do this...I just don't understand. Maybe my body will not let me go that low. Who know? But I am going to do.

OK....now that I am pumped up....I had a great OP day yesterday and today will be the same

Lets all pull together and help each with this new way of life.

Have a great day.

Hello Kris1209....welcome to the thread.

I enjoy this plan also. But everyone is different and they need to find what works for them. I find with LA that I am held accountable and that is what I need. I need to have someone weigh me...I don't believe in all the extra cost of LA but I do believe in the program because it has worked for me. And when I joined I was willing to do what it takes to get this 30lbs off.

What plan are you on? Looking forward to getting to know you and seeing your success.

Thanks for your reply - I am on the gold plan - My weight loss goal is 41 pounds.......almost 1/4 of the way there already. I know it will slow down - for me it is all about facing someone 3 times per week, that is what keeps me on track! My aunt had great success on the plan, unfortunately she lost 35 pounds, quit and never went to maintenance (needless to say she is back.) The girls in my center are nice and seem to know whats going on - they arent too pusy either -hopefully that will continue.

Have a great evening!!!!

Good Morning All....

Kris1209...I think when you have a good center it makes all the difference. I too told my center that I wasn't going to buy the supplements and of course I got "How much they can help me but I just explained that I was not interested. After that I have never been pushed to buy anything. I did buy the cookbook and I love it. One thing I did find with this diet is not alot of variety..;.but since I have the cookbook I have had a few different foods....

Well tonight is weigh in and I have been OP since Monday....so we will see what happens.

Have a great day

Welcome Kris,
We have a great group here (although I don't know where everyone went). I also go to a center that is not pushy. The only thing wrong with mine is 3 managers in as many months.
Tab- Which recipes do you like. I like the stuffed peppers and the sweet and sour cabbage.

hey guys, sorry i haven't been posting. very busy at work lately. welcome kris! sounds like you'll be at goal in no time.

as for me, the move back to the red plan seems to be working. i was down a pound at weigh-in today (2 pounds down on my home scale). don't think i'll meet my V-day goal without doing a take-off, but debating on whether i really want to do that. i definitely can't work out when i'm doing that. will keep you guys posted.

Hello Everyone - Happy Hump Day! Doesn't is seem like it is always Wednesday??

I just got back from my second weigh in this week - down 1.25 so far this week - I questioned whether or not I am eating enough (I've never had that problem before) and they seemed to think I am so we will see how I do on Friday. Next weekend I get "Weekends Off" they tell me still no Thai food - that is killing me......

Have a great OP day!!!

Good Morning Everyone.....

Well I weighed in last night and again I am down 2.2lbs. I am hoping that I keep it off this time. I keep losing and gaining the same 2lbs. Sometime it is 3lbs. Let hope that I am on the down side of things now.

Kris...Wow....weekends off already! My center did not start me on weekends off until I lost half of my weight. They told me that some people do not do too well. And they like to wait to introduce it to them after they are down some weigh first. I was given the weekends off plan but I didn't do it. For me it was too many starches. I am a carboholic and my tempting myself like that on the weekends I am afraid that I could not get back on track on Monday. But let me know how you do. Boy, you will get some good food. Fat free ego waffles, low fat twinkes, gold fish crackers....mmmm mmmm good. See I love that type of stuff.

dianem1....any goal is a start....you can do it!

kathie351....I like the Sloppy Jim...and the egg drop soup....it is definately not the kind you get at a Chineese resturant but it will do in a bind...*smile* I plan to look and make more stuff this weekend.

GringaGordita....MMM...MMMM One extra starch...yummy. Do you eat the LA lite bars or something comparable?
