Default Stuck in a rut! Last 20lbs

Brief history: ... Starting weight was 226. I lost 85lbs in about eight and a half months. Then I took a year break of just maintaining. And in the end only gained about 5lbs, but lost a lot of muscle mass, and appear very flabby again. Now I have been more determined then ever to lose my last 20lbs or so, and it WONT COME OFF!! I just completed the Jillian Michaels 30day shred challenge. and haven't lost a single pound! my arms gained a little muscle, but thats about all i noticed. And i worked my butt off doing the exercises. But have yet to see it reflect on the scale. I have been counting my calories. I consume about 1200 per day. and that consist of protein shakes, turkey sandwiches, carrots, and lots of fruit. I just don't seem to understand why I haven't been able to loose the last 20lbs! I thought I had everything figured out before when I was loosing weight, but ever since I took some time off, I feel completely lost and back to square one. I never thought I would be one of this girls who complains about only 20lbs to lose. I should be celebrating.. but thats the funny thing about self esteem I guess.. :/

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I cant seem to bust through my rut and drop my last 20lbs?? And.. anyone have any other good at home work out videos that they recommend? I did really enjoy the 30 day shred challenge, but I just didn't get the results I was hoping for. And now that the 30days are over, I should probably switch things up... Any other good workout DVDS out there??

I bet you are gaining muscle and eventually the scale will catch up. The scale is often a cruel cruel mistress...

Not sure a DVD alone is the answer

Try Jillian's Making the Cut book. The 30 DS accompanies this. The workouts in the book are crazy intense but it gives you the diet AND exercise to blast that last 20lbs. It takes a different approach from the days where you needed significant weight loss.
