Default Regular coconut milk versus light coconut milk?

I always get Thai Kitchen Lite coconut milk, but today at Walmart, I didn't see any! They seemed to be out of most of the coconut milk but I found a brand way at the bottom, and all the way in the back: Imperial Dragon. It was regular though. I bought it, but now at home I realize that there is 41% saturated fat in a serving. Wow. Making Peanut Curry meatballs tomorrow, is it okay to use this milk in this recipe?

I'd definitely avoid it. The Phase I Food list says light only and it's used more as a condiment.

If you do use it, you will be able to use less. Regular coconut milk has a much richer flavor than the light, so you should be able to cut the amount that you need in half - making up for the additional fat and calories.

Thanks guys, I went to the store earlier and got a can of light after reading Ruth's comment. That's a good idea about using less, Zeffryn, then the can of regular kind won't go to waste next time I need some.
