Default losing it with jillian

Her show gets better every week and is so inspiring. I wish I knew how they lost the weight. If they lose (in the 2 months) by just excercise and eating healthy or if they take anything to help? So is like 30lbs for a woman in 2 months DOABLE? Just wondering. If you haven't watched it or missed an episode check it out on nbc.com. It actually kinda inspires me more than biggest loser. I learn more from biggest loser though!!
What everyone elses thoughts on it?

I've only watched it a few times because of my schedule, but I really like it, better than biggest loser, because it goes beyond the weight. It's very inspiring because the people she helps are real people and relatable....some of them need to lose more than others, but they are all 'worthy' of Jillian's help.

It also goes beyond what may be considered her '*****y' side that hyou see on BL.Especially when she deals with kids, you can tell she really wants to help them...

Over all, I like the show and I hope it stays on.

Me and my friend watch it every week, we DVR it and watch on Sunday night while we have dinner together... I really like, IDK if I could handle having someone on me the way she gets on them... I think her and I would be fist fighting, but I do like the show!!! IDK if it is possible to loose the kinda numbers that they loose, and I also don't know if that kind of vigorous exercise is sustainable(I am LAZY about exercise) but I watch it and like it... I wish they would discuss the eating plan more and the exercise less... I have read that weightloss is 80% food 20 % exercise.. But, WHAT DO I KNOW???? I thought it was gonna be like the bbc show "You are what you eat" where she goes in a rips their diet to shredds!! I haven't watched last weeks yet, with the 4th on Sunday we ate and went to fireworks, so I missed it... I will catch up!!

I never miss an episode, it is a great show. It gets me through the summer months but I still miss my Biggest Loser - cant wait for it to start back in the Fall.

@ hair OH MY GOSH it was really good!! I believe that about the food and excercise. A year ago I was dedicated to changing and did my calories on mydailyplate. I entered my height weight and what I wanted to lose which was 3 lbs a week and I stuck to it. I lost 3 lbs a week for a month WITHOUT excercise!! Then my husband started baking all kinds of stuff and I couldnt handle it...it cant be in the house..IT would be nice to lose some wieght then excercise cause it is HARD...but its life I guess!

@ optical- You can def. see in last weeks episode how much she wanted to help with kids...she didnt hardly yell at all!!

@satine-Im starting to think this is my fav. I love bloser but they are on the ranch losing the weight not in the real world losing the weight...lol

Right, and the recent things I have heard about the show ( like the weigh ins really being weeks apart instead of one week ) , make me question the reality of it all ...I think I just like to watch people heavier than me exercise and sweat, haha ...just kidding

Also one year I lost 60 pds on WW and never exercised once...I know it is horrible to say that but I did...I heard somewhere that it is 90% diet and 10% exercise, dont know how true that is...I know I am exercising now just for toning as I lose

I really like that show, and I'm also wondering about their programs.

I admit, I teared up a few times watching the episodes...

I've lost about 17lbs in 6 weeks with hardly any exercise, just tracking and counting calories, so I'm sure it's possible to lose 30 in 2 months with strenuous exercise.

I just watched the one on the Yavapai-Apache Nation, beautiful. Seems like this was shot before we reached 110 degrees this summer lol. It is mad hot here.

I think I might be in the odd minority of those who don't like the show, and prefer Biggest Loser. I don't know what it was, but it seemed like the show went "boom boom boom alright, it's all good now." I also had a hard time connecting to the people because unlike BL, we saw them an hour, rather than the two hours a week of 15 weeks.

I really need to see this show!!! Everyone at work talks about it. Sounds great!

Side note... I did lose about 30+ pounds in 2 months. So yes, it's possible!!

I started at 198, am now 165 (as of today!), and my goal is 135ish.

Hey Momof4! I watch this too. I save the episodes to watch on my treadmill. I saw the one with the Yavapai, and was struck that Jillian didn't use the tribal dance as a way make exercise fun. I watch the last episode today, the one with the guy on the breathing machine. Kinda striked close to home, as some members of my family have the same problem.
