Hi all,
I am back. I lost 90 lbs. quickly a few years back, as you can see from my sig. Over time, I have gained 65 of it back. I came back here many times to read, but have been too ashamed to write or participate. I have also been in a wonky period of life -- some might all it a mid-life crisis.
Well, part of my journey through this mid-life crisis is to take more control of the second half of my life and live it to the fullest -- which means with a healthy, vital, energetic body!
So here I am again, hoping to get to a realistic weight of 180. I chose this goal because, though it is still heaver than what my BMI claims I should be, it is a weight I was at many years ago where I felt so healthy and alive. So, I shall start there as a goal and see what happens.
I am counting calories, eating clean, and exercising daily (6 days cardio and/or weights and 1 day yoga.
I am also competing with my husband and a friend on stickk.com, a website that will deduct money from my account each week that I do not make my weekly goal. You can choose where to send the money.
