lucy, I was the same! I stayed a size 16 forever. With my height and build, I hit a 14 about 180. The good news? Once you get below the 14 the sizes go much faster.

Oh girl don't worry, I'm pretty sure I was still a 16 at 180. I'm an 8/10/12 now Just depends on the brand. Try some strength training that really getting the inches moving.

Are you short like me? I'm like 5'3" and been the same size too. I lost 13lbs but in the past, I haven't gotten too many sizes smaller...I always heard that every 10lbs is one size, but I guess its not true for everyone.

Don't let the size thing hang you up - there are stores where you may be a 14 not a 16...it depends on the brand. Just keep at it, soon you'll get down from 16 in every brand!

Hey you lost 20lbs!!!! I think it is much harder to see the results if you are shorter. I am blessed to be 5 foot 9 so even though I am 180 right now, it is more even all over. Does that make sense? I am a size 12 at the moment, however, I can get into pants that are 10's because my legs are thin. go figure? Don't be too dissapointed..you are doing great! I look at every 5lb. loss as a bag of sugar...now go pick up 4 bags and see what an accomplishment you have achieved. YOU GO GIRL!

Yep, I'm 5'0" and 183.5 lbs (as of this morning) and I'm still a 16. I know how you feel! But, I know from other forums around here that this is completely common and normal, and I've heard before that it goes faster as you get smaller. So I'm focusing on losing the weight, and not so much the size. At least for now. We will get there!!!

WOO HOO for your 20 lbs!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!
I'm 175 and a size 14. I was 192 lbs.... and I was a size..... 14.
How's that possible? I'll tell ya. I SHOULD have been wearing a size 16... but I refused!!!.... and kept stuffing my big *** into a size 14.
Now a 14 fits me properly. Sometimes...

I stuffed myself into 16s all the way up to 250, and I remember wearing them at 180 too, so hang in there! It's true, the sizes do come off MUCH faster when we get down there!

I was a loose 16 at 180 also. Now I'm a loose 12. What others are saying is true, once you get lower the weight in between sizes gets smaller. I think I was only in 14s for a month or less.
