i've gained about 50 pounds in the last few years, mostly because of depression, a little because i replaced some other addictions with food. finally decided enough is enough and i'm ready to be happy with how i look again. as of right now i cant look at myself in the mirror. but hopefully that'll change soon. any tips for staying motivated??

Hi! I'm new here too. My weight has always yo-yo'd, but now it's higher than ever, higher than the last time I was "fat" in high school at 144, the weight I said I'd never be again :/ I struggle with depression too but I find Wellbutrine helps suppress my monstrous appetite a little.
Anyway, these are a couple things I like to think of to resist chocolatey temptation:
-When people call you "fat" it will only be sarcastically
-You will finally be able to wear sleeveless tops and not worry about your arms
-Your thighs won't touch as much and walking will be way more comfortable
