Default Old Navy and me!!

So i have NEVER been able to wear old navy clothes .. even the XXL was always to small on me so i never went there to shop .. well last night my BFF came over and needed to go get a gift for her niece so i figured i would go because it was something to do .. well i seen they had zip up hooded sweat shirts (which i seriously spent the day looking for one because it gets cold at night) for only $15 so i thought i would give one a try thinking i know this is a lost cause but what the heck and amazingly it fit its a little tight if i zip it but i don't usually zip my coats anyways i just want it to cover my arms .. then i seen this dress it was a tube top type dress .. nothing i would EVER wear out of my house at least not at this size but we have a pool so i thought for a bathing suit cover it would be cute .. well the dressing rooms were already closed so i tried it on over my clothes and it was TOO big!! i felt like i was swimming in it over my clothes .. then i thought to myself well maybe they just changed their sizing scale and have made the XXL bigger .. but i don't care they fit and the one was a lil big and it made me feel wonderful .. i have been so frustrated lately cuz the # on the scale isn't moving but apparently I'm losing inches .. it made me feel so good about myself that i can't wait til tomorrow to get back to the gym and work at this some more!! also i had the flu this past week so i was down an extra 6 lbs which i know it's from being sick and I'm sure I'll put some of it back on but I'm so scared to eat anything that the flu has actually helped me because I'm sticking w/ just "light" foods .. I've been eating a ton more salads so maybe the flu was a good thing in disguise

Congrats!! That's awesome; I love Old Navy clothes. That shows what happens when the scale doesn't move. Here's to many more shopping trips!!

congrats! I have one pair of old navy jeans that fit me back when I was 19 and around 200 lbs. I would like to wear them again.

Awesome! I've been kinda scared to go in there myself ever since my aunt gave me a gift card that I foudn I wasn't able to use a few years back.

Hmm . . . I'm definitely smaller now than I was back then . . .

Wow! That is awesome! I haven't ever been able to wear their clothes either, I'll keep that in mind. I guess I've always thought that they only carry small sizes.

Yay for you! I was in with my stepdaughter to pick some jeans up for her a month or so ago and while I didn't try anything on, I held up a couple things to myself that I thought "hmmm, maybe 5 more lbs" or "the cut of this would actually fit me". It's a darn good feeling...revel in it!
