I've read somewhere that losing weight is 80% diet/food intake and 20% exercise. Maybe if you started off by making changes in your eating habits the whole thing won't be so daunting.

Exercise doesn't have to be painful or tedious. Start of slow .. incorporate a walk here and there. I started off walking and stretching in my living room.

I agree with onederchic! We can't magically fix it.
