Default Tip For Browning Ground Turkey

I always find it difficult to break up ground turkey when browning it in a skillet. I don't want to scratch my pan with a metal fork and a plastic fork doesn't seem to work very well. Wooden spoon does an okay job. But last night, I grabbed my plastic potato masher and it worked wonders on breaking up the meat! Just wanted to share!

I love silicone spoonulas for breaking things up in nonstick pans. They're half spoon, half spatula, and have a fairly pointy side for breaking things up, and a spoon-like shape for stirring.

I've heard of using a potato masher before, though, and can see how it would work really well!
