Default Anyone else stuck in the awkward in-between (with clothing)?

I'm just sharing one of my motivations to lose weight... to get out of this awkward in-between I've been in for the past couple of years.

I'm too small for plus-size clothes... but too big for normal clothes.

I call it the awkward in-between... and it makes finding clothes VERY difficult...

So yeah... one reason why I want to lose the weight and get several sizes smaller...

Anyone else in this position? And ready to get out of it?

Well... I'm that too. In between a 14 & a 16. 16 tends to be a tad big... and 14 tends to be a tad small.

So yeah... I just don't like the whole awkward in between...

I'm the same way but with 16-18... Annoying but you're right it's good motivation to be under in the "normal" sizes..

In between 16-18. My 18's hang a bit , but am unable to button the "special" size 16 jeans I bought for motivation. I agree it's annoying lol

I was in this size range for three years and I can relate to how frustrating it can be Trying to find a size 16 stretch petite or 14 with legs that are not a mile long was difficult. My tops always ranged from XL to 2X and nothing ever fit quite right. Trust me, in time you will get there and it will feel great. I am just starting to be able to walk into the "regular" size section for clothes and it is kind of odd because I still feel too big to be there even though I fit a size 12 and M-XL tops now

This is me! I can fit into today's size 16 at certain stores (stores that vanity size) but my old size 16's from 7-8 years back won't even come over my thighs. I have clothes in my closet now from 14 to 20, all of which I can button. The 14's are stretchy jeans, the 20's are work pants. Some are baggy some are tight, but I can wear them all.

What size are we?

Me too! I'm stuck between 14-16. I have to wear a belt with my 14s but a 12 is just too small right now. All of my pants are mostly 14s and some 16s(that almost fall off), but I'm running out of holes in my beltloop! I guess that's a good thing right? P.S. I have a weigh in tomorrow afternoon, so here's hoping to bust down that 180 wall.

I'm right in that 14 and 16 gap too. I have a pair of 14 shorts that are a little big and another that are too small. My jeans are still 16s and fit just fine. Its frustrating because it feels like nothing fits at all!
