minigoal accomplished = someone notices (beside dh and ppl who see me everyday)

So I was beginning to think that my sister and dh were lying just to please me, but today my sister-in-laws (who I haven't seen for a few months) came over and noticed! DH's sister told me "wow! you've lost weight! you're so skinny now! How did you do it?" I told her calorie-counting and walking, and she continued to shower me with compliments... I've only lost about 19 lb, but it was definite reinforcement to continue... I'm soooooo happy, words can't describe it. Noone's ever said things like that to me before I just can't believe it!

I guess my problem is that no matter how much weight I lose, I just cant believe it. I was starting to believe that it was water-weight, (19 lb water-weight, imagine that! ) but idk... now that I got some positive comments from someone I don't see that often, I'm starting to believe it! Makes me wanna work harder.

Sorry if I made a big deal outta nothing... I'm just sooo happy tonight!

That is totally awesome, isn't it great to have people notice that you have lost weight!? I have only had one person comment that they noticed my weight loss a few days ago. This is likely because at my work my uniform is a mens button up shirt and slacks; and I am still wearing the same clothes from before I lost any weight, and they are getting baggy. But a woman at work asked if I lost weight and said that my facial features are much more defined now. It wasn't a showering of praise, but it was enough to make me still feel good today like a week later. Anyways, keep it up and I am sure the complements will start to add up! Thanks for your inspiring post!

Congrats, it's awesome when people notice weight loss, huh? Gives you that extra boost to ride high on. It's a nice, motivating thing to remember when the cravings come!

That's awesome!!! I love it when people notice weight loss! Makes it all the more real that things really are happening! It's one of my best motivators, since I don't tend to see my own weight loss looking in the mirror every day... But that's why I started taking photos! to you!!!

Thanks everyone!! 3fc has helped me in so many ways, everytime I get a craving for fast food or candy I come here and read posts. I don't think I ever would have made it this far without all the inspiration that you lovely ladies provide. Now all I have to say is ONWARDS!!!! To the next twenty pounds! :P
